Pushkar, a small peaceful lake city in Rajasthan, is one of the oldest existing cities in India. The colorful culture & vibrance is what got me interested in Pushkar and during the Pushkar fair there is a burst of color & activity all around, it’s a visual treat! I loved the place and found its beauty timeless and eternal. Sitting by the ghats and watching people go by their activities and rituals, or a walk through the gallis (lanes) of Pushkar, there is a strange feeling about time. I had a similar experience in Varanasi, which is also one of the oldest spiritual cities in India. The place and everything about it is so ancient that it seems locked in time. Their unchanged beauty is what adds to the magnificence of these places. In monochrome or full color, their beauty is truly timeless!
